NFL Draft plans canceled in Las Vegas as league looks to modify event

The National Football League announced today that the 2020 NFL Draft will not be held in Las Vegas as originally planned as the nation continues to feel the effects of the coronavirus. The draft will still happen on April 23-25, but it will be a modified draft that is televised without fans in attendance.
“This decision reflects our foremost priority – the health and safety of all fans and our citizens,” said commissioner Roger Goodell in a release from the League.
