The Nuggets are the defending champions of the Western Conference's Northwest Divison. Denver advanced to the Western Confernce Finals last season and return several key players from that team, including Carmelo Anthony, Chauncy Billups, Kenyon Martin, Chris "Birdman" Andersen and J.R. Smith.
All Nuggets games are broadcast on the Denver Nuggets Radio Network, originating in Denver. Jerry Schemmel has been the radio voice of the Nuggets since 1992. All of the Nuggets Radio Network Affiliates also carry the pregame show hosted by Jason Kosmicki.
