According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans have agreed to a blockbuster trade that will send wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona and running back David Johnson to the Texans.
Per McClain via his Twitter account, the Texans also receive Arizona’s 2020 second-round pick and a fourth-round pick, while the Cardinals receive a fourth-round pick in return.
This news broke shortly after the Cardinals used a transition tag on running back Kenyon Drake, signaling Johnson’s time with the team was nearing the end.
