La’el Collins suspended five games by the NFL

The Cowboys lost a heartbreaking shootout against the reigning Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers last night to kick off the 2021 regular season.

To add injury to insult, the Cowboys will be without starting wide receiver Michael Gallup for up to a month with a calf strain.

Now we have learned that starting right tackle and key to the Dallas offense, La’el Collins, has been suspended five games for violating the NFL’s policy and program for substances of abuse, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Cowboys take on the Los Angeles Chargers next week at Sofi Stadium.
