Former Cleveland High School and UNM running back Romell Jordan has passed away according to James Yodice of the Albuquerque Journal. Details of Jordan’s death are not yet available and his family has requested their privacy. Jordan was just 23-years old.
Prior to joining the University of New Mexico in 2014, Romell was part of the Cleveland Storm’s 2011 team that went undefeated.
In three seasons with the Lobos, Jordan rushed for 551 yards and five touchdowns on 105 carries in 29 games.
