The 2024 NBA playoffs are in full swing and matchups for the second round are set.
In the East, the New York Knicks lead the Indiana Pacers 2-1 in their semifinal, while the Cleveland Cavaliers tied their series with the formidable Boston Celtics after a Game 2 road win on Thursday.
In the West, the Minnesota Timberwolves took an impressive 2-0 lead over the defending champion Denver Nuggets only to lose Game 3 at home on Friday. In the other West semi, the Dallas Mavericks fell in Game 1 to the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night but evened things up on Thursday with a road win of their own.
