David Swope is an Account Executive and Radio Personality at ESPN Radio 101.7FM The TEAM. David brings 30 years of Marketing experience from a diverse background in public relations, promotions and sales management. His background includes ownership and operations of a retail business, a Financial Planner and General Manager of a multipurpose motorsports facility. Fundraising and public service background include Leadership Albuquerque, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, UNM Alumni Association and the Rotary Club of Albuquerque.
As a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and graduate of UNM, David has developed an extensive and diverse network of contacts. The opportunity to connect with other likeminded professionals is essential in his continued growth and commitment to the community.
David had the opportunity to join the TEAM at ESPN Radio Albuquerque KQTM in November of 2012. The New Mexico Motorsports Report started its broadcast in February of 2013 on 101.7FM. David’s background as both an Account Executive and a Host of a weekly radio gives him insight into how to leverage the radio format.
