New Mexico United announce the signing of midfielder/forward Amando Moreno for the 2020 roster. Pending the approval of the signing by the USL, Moreno will join a returning United roster of 15 players from the 2019 inaugural season.
Moreno is an experienced player with stints playing for the New York Red Bulls Academy, the U.S. Youth National Team Program, and he played for the New York Red Bulls of MLS in 2013, and Chicago Fire of the MLS in 2019.
“A proven commodity in the USL, Amando is going to provide goals and assists every year,” said Head Coach and Technical Director Troy Lesesne via a release from the club.
“Not only is he a great fit for our system and style of play, the tenacity and determination Amando plays with reflects the identity of our club.”
