Dodgers sign Justin Turner to 4-year, $64M deal

Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports is reporting via Twitter that the Dodgers and free agent infielder Justin Turner have agreed to a 4-year, $64 million deal.

First reported by Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports on Monday and confirmed today by Heyman, Turner’s signing is a big move for the Dodgers and will solidify the left side of the infield for years to come.

Turner, a journeyman utility player who came to his own as a member of the Dodgers, hit a career-high 27 home runs an 90 RBI in 2016. In addition to a solid middle of the order bat and an above average glove, Turner is a clubhouse leader for the team and a vital cog to their success over the past few seasons.
