The University of New Mexico athletic department announced today the 2017-18 non-conference schedule for the UNM men’s basketball team. The Lobos will play 13 non-conference games starting with a home matchup on November 11th against Northern New Mexico at Dreamstyle Arena, wrapping up with another home contest on Friday, December 22nd against Prairie View A&M.
The non-conference schedule includes tough consecutive road games against UTEP and Colorado in the first week of December, and a home game against Pack 12 power Arizona on Saturday, December 16th.
The annual home/away matchup against in-state rival New Mexico State kicks off with the Lobos heading south to Las Cruces to take on the Aggies on Friday, November 17th. The Aggies will make the journey north to Albuquerque to complete the season series on Saturday, December 9th.
