Corey Seager suffers serious hamstring injury

dAccording to ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez, the Dodgers fear that starting shortstop Corey Seager suffered a serious hamstring injury on Tuesday.

Seager pulled up lame while trying to score in the ninth inning against the Angels. Gonzalez reports that early indications on the injury are that Seager suffered a grade-2 strain or worse, with the team expecting Seager to miss up to two months.

“I feel bad,” manager Dave Roberts said after his team’s 5-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. “We all feel bad for Corey.”

Kike Hernandez and Chris Taylor will likely share the duties at shortstop with Seager on the IL.
