According to Jay Glazer, the Dallas Cowboys signed veteran defensive lineman Aldon Smith to a one-year, $4-million deal.
Smith is reportedly sober and is looking to resurrect a once-promising career.
The 30-year-old former San Francisco 49er and Oakland Raider has not played in the NFL since 2015.
His 42 career sacks in his first three seasons are the third-most of any player in NFL history, and the former 49er will work again with his former defensive line coach, Jim Tomsula.
