The University of New Mexico Lobos will kick off the COVID-19 shortened 2020 regular season schedule this weekend against the San José State Spartans. Unfortunately for Lobo fans, the game will be played at CEFCU Stadium in San José and not University Stadium in Albuquerque.
According to a release from UNM, the Mountain West Conference has moved the game from Albuquerque to San José due “to the current prevalence of COVID-19 in Bernalillo County and State public health orders.”
Kickoff is set for 5 pm MT, with television coverage provided by FS1.
