ESPN’s Todd Archer is reporting that all-pro guard Zack Martin has been placed on the COVID-19 list and will not play in the season opener this Thursday night against the reigning Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Martin’s absence will be a huge blow for a Cowboys team that will take on a defensive unit that tormented Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs last season in Super Bowl LV in February.
