No. 1 Punches Ticket into 6A Title Game

The top-seeded Cleveland Storm broke open a tight game in the second half en-route to a 47-24 victory over Volcano Vista Friday, Nov. 18 at Nusenda Community Stadium in a game heard on The TEAM

The Storm (10-2) will face off against No. 2 La Cueva (11-1) Saturday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Stadium.

Cleveland rode the shoulders of senior running Josh Perry.

Perry rushed for 275 yards and reached the end zone five times on 27 carries.

Cleveland piled up 578 yards of total offense, with 435 coming from the ground.

Cleveland amassed 270 rushing yards in the second half.

Elliot Paskett-Bell threw for 253 yards and touchdown pass to Alijah Gonzales for Volcano Vista (10-3). He also ran for a TD. Gonzales rushed for 70 yards.
